(Anonymous) 2025-05-01 08:18 pm (UTC)(link)funny to see people bitching about smut ac though, i can't remember the last time i saw a game with actual smut ac rather than something like letting players submit a smut thread for bonus ac
Re: PLURK PET PEEVES
(Anonymous) 2025-05-01 08:34 pm (UTC)(link)yeah some people are still burned by 10 year old game trends and mechanics i guess. really not a current problem i also can't remember the last time i saw with forced smut-ac. i'd almost welcome seeing it somewhere just for the novelty.
i hope any potential mod looking at this will take it all with a grain of salt and do what they want to do with their game at the end of the day. don't boil a game down to satisfy the most common denominator, that's lame, and this is such a small survey sampling size anyway.
i respectfully disagree i feel like "uncomplicated ac" and "cr-focused" is pretty self explanatory? i've been in games where it's like submit 5 threads but no thread can reuse the same cr from last month and the threads have the started at the equinox of the new moon and no later and network threads carry different weight you can't submit more than 3 network threads of tiny dick length and you can't re-use threads you use for bonus ac unless you used them last month unless they're more than 2 months old like damn. complicated for no reason. hate that shit. can't imagine it's any easier to review on the mods' end either.
mods should just have a caveat in their rules somewhere they reserve the right to talk with a player if they notice habitual bad patterns or whatever
