it is. it's only unofficial in the most "technically on paper" way because they have a player run it for them, and the player they have doing it is a grudgewanker.

I've been in plenty of games with official discord servers run by a "discord mod" who doesn't mod anything else.

I've been in games with unofficial discord servers. The unofficial servers have zero mod presence and the mods distance themselves from responsibility of it. They don't post rules, announcements and link invites. If you want in you find an invite from someone you know.

Having a player run it doesn't make it unofficial, even technically on paper. That's ridiculous.

I know man I was agreeing with you. The only thing that actually makes it unofficial is that Bekka isn't an official mod. So it's an official server that the mod team has delegated to a player.
