because it gets frustrating when a flake can't stay in their lane and makes their shitty activity your problem.

i once knew someone who couldn't tag worth shit and idc, up until the point they apped in as my very close castmate and flaked for 6 months, thereby making their activity my problem and making it harder for me to have fun bc i had to work around them. they tried springing a major cr point last minute to make ac, and i had to put my foot down because i'd have to retcon the last month because of it.

honestly this is why games need to raise their ac back to 15-20 comments. if you can't manage a whopping 15 comments in an entire calendar month, guess what, you're too slow and/or inconsistent to be participating in a group storytelling effort.
