I think Big Bang Theory is hilarious, but I hate the way it's made "geek culture" cool. It's really irritating.

It hasn't really made "geek culture" cool. It's still laughing at, rather than with; most of the jokes are still your same old "har har those social misfits are so different than us normal folk. Different is inferior."

I agree to an extent with that, though I see a lot of aspects of people I know in the characters from the show, and I think that is more the point than having realistic nerds.
