GDI and if that wasn't bad enough, whenever you bring up the subject of your muse, the other person has the instinct to not leave it rest. For example:

anon I know exactly who you're talking about but there was a perfectly legitimate reason for wanting to take her ipad with her? she was going into the first procedure of many that had a number of possible side effects like completely wiping her memory and she was alone; I'd want a tether to my friends as long as possible too.

can't say much for the latter other than textbook depression but if you can't be assed to know, may as well remove her if it's grating on you.

People who stop using AIM/Skype/etc contact all together or rarely use it because of Plurk. I'd love to have a real conversation with some friends on my timeline but commenting on our status updates isn't it.

from the constant flirting and comments to plurks on either timeline talking about "my s.o. is so ___" or "my s.o. did this or that" or, hell, even plurking about wedding shit. calm the fuck down you've been together for a month. you're going to break up someday, stop acting like you're going to get married and live together. in about a year (give or take a few months), you'll break up, cry about it, then latch onto the first person who shows an interest and start the cycle again.

following both parties is just twice as annoying.

P.S. the "cute" variations on this that do form complete sentences are no better on the grounds that they make no sense. (i.e. "I have lost the energy to can.")

There was a time when I actually used to respond to her plurks but I don't bother anymore since she never responds to mine. Can't take her off though cause we have too many mutual friends and the last thing I want to do is cause drama.

brought on by one of the threads here but i hate it when people have public plurks but make half of their plurks private anyway

i wouldn't mind if it didn't inform me that i had a new private plurk every singly time this happens, only for it to be something mildly rl-related that omg the rest of the world can't see!! they may not think it, but it gives off the impression that they want everyone to pay attention to them.

plurking about parent troubles. i'm not talking about legit abuse, i'm talking about 20-somethings on my plurklist who complain every time their parents tell them they need to have goals in life and should probably start thinking about their futures. not expecting them to know what they want to do with their lives, but expecting them to give it some thought. what the hell is wrong with wanting your kid to have some ambition so they're not wasting away jobless and degree-less in their basement? tbh anytime anyone complains about this it just reeks spoiled brat to me. it's even worse when people come in and "(cozy)(cozy)(cozy) B-BABBYYYYY YOUR PARENTS ARE JUST EMOTIONALLY MANIPULATIVE ASSHOLES".

Person plurks about having a bad, lingering cold. Their nose is stuffy and they've been coughing for two weeks. Cue flood of comments urging them to immediately go to a doctor for antibiotics and take a week off work/school.

Jesus, people, it's a cold. People who rush to the doctor and demand medication for every little sniffle are why we have a huge problem with antibiotic resistance. But the only way you can show how much you "care" on Plurk is to (cozy) and give stupid, irresponsible, overdramatic advice.

People who plurk at least once a day (if not more) about how the games they're in intimidate them, people who play the same character intimidate them, looking for a new job intimidates them, graduating college intimidates them, etc, etc. And then everyone else goes in for asspats.
