I know her irl, and this plurk actually caused one of her closest friends on plurk (no one who posted in the plurk in question; this is another irl friend who happens to be on plurk) to private plurk our mutual group of friends about staging an intervention, because this shit has gone too far. Not only is it making her look bad, it's also clearly a symptom of depression.
Hopefully the conversation-to-come makes a difference.
I'm glad to hear that and I hope it's true. I'm not one of her irl friends and I didn't feel close enough to her to say something, but she's obviously been spiraling and I've been worried.
While I was mostly just venting, I'm glad that her close friends are taking a stand to do something about this. I don't feel close enough to her to say anything to that effect, especially since the plurks irritate me so much that I would only end up coming off the wrong way if I attempted to respond to them, so I wish you and the others luck in helping her to help herself.
