just because someone admits to being a sick motherfucker and ~regrets~ what they did, which likely ruined all of the lives of the children involved, doesn't make them absolved of the sick and twisted pleasure they get from what they've done. and it's obvious, if he's playing out rape, that he still has those fantasies.

What kills me about this is that the people defending him are somehow convinced that anyone is entitled to RP, but I'm pretty damn sure that no law book anywhere, in any country, lists "roleplaying a character on a forum on the internet" as one of your inalienable rights granted to you by existing. No one is entitled to be in an RP game if the players and mods of that game do not want them there. Mods, on the other hand, are entitled to keep anyone out of a game they've worked hard to build and maintain for whatever reason they want. As a mod of a game Ken probably wouldn't be interested in, I wouldn't allow him in because he would make me, one of the people responsible with dealing with him during his time in the game as well as the person who let him in in the first place, immensely uncomfortable, and nowhere is there a law that says I have to deal with that. They can whine and cry about how ~unfair~ it is all they want, but my mind won't be changed. He's a rapist who plays out rape, so clearly still gets pleasure out of that kind of situation and is therefore liable to do it again, and I am not okay with associating with someone like that, even over the internet.

If they want to, fine. PSLs and museboxes exist for a reason. But if a game doesn't want him in their playerbase, it is their right to bar him entry.

And if any of the people in that plurk want to "tear me a new one" for having this opinion, they can come here and ask for my identity and I'll give it. I'm not afraid of a bunch of idiots who've taken Greek Social Fallacies to new heights, but I am afraid of rapists, and I'm not letting a self-admitted one into my game no matter how much he ~regrets~ it.

This is pretty much exactly why we refused him entry into COA the first place. I would have been uncomfortable dealing with him and as a mod, I had no opt out for it. We were polite in our response, but the response was no and I have zero regrets over how we handled it.

What's most obnoxious about this is the sheer level of entitlement. He spent years sexually abusing a multitude of children and has never had to answer to any real consequences for it. He was never arrested. He was never disowned. He was never sent to a correctional facility. He isn't sure if any of the parents even know. He isn't sure if any of the involved remember. He can still walk the streets freely. He can still RP in museboxes and PSLs.

The ONLY way this perpetuated abuse has come back to bite him in the ass is in not being welcome in formal RP games because he was audacious enough to try to get pity for himself by admitting to it all. That's it. If he'd kept it to himself? This wouldn't be happening even with the abuse still being true.

And he has the gall to be upset about that. To think he doesn't deserve to be negatively impacted even in such a trivial way.

If he REALLY felt sorry about what he'd done, he would own his mistakes and accept that saying you're sorry doesn't mean there's no consequences. He wouldn't whine about how oh noes 6 years of raping children means I can't indulge in my hobby of choice in my manner of choice anymore. He wouldn't selfishly argue about how unfair it is that he should be barred from games while fully aware it's because he makes a number of players uncomfortable. It's all about him and what he wants and fuck everyone who thinks the comfort of the rest of the playerbase should take priority over his pretendy funtiems.

Ken, the onus is not on them to avoid you. It's your responsibility to not impose yourself on their fun places to begin with. And it's because you refuse to accept that responsibility that this keeps happening to you.

But then, you never have been good at understanding self-restraint or respecting boundaries. No surprise it's still true today.

Fuck the both of them. His behavior is disgusting and the fact that she's enabling it is even worse. How she feels about her husband/fiance/whatever the fuck he is, that's her business, but she doesn't get to tell people to "GET OVER IT" AND LET HIM PLAY, which is basically all I'm taking away from this.

If the only punishment he's suffered thus far is being banned from role playing in games on a handful of online forums then they should both count themselves "lucky" that someone hasn't taken this up with the police, though I'm SURE I'm not alone in saying I hope their luck runs out.

I hope that one day one of his victims steps forward and he gets his skeevy, desensitized, inhuman, remorseless, immature, ass-chafed behind thrown in federal prison to rot for the rest of his days.
