I did it and no one called me a yaoibrat (and I'm a straight girl). If you're in a game then make sure you're also paying attention to your non-ship CR (goes for ships of all orientations) and no one will give a shit, other than a few buttmad idiots.

this please. As someone that in the past has gotten ignored or worse even though I play a female canon love interest, I'd rather know right off the bat. Then I won't tag, you won't have to write what you don't want and we'll both be happy.

the problem with this 'I want to ship m/m' does not require a personality transplant. totally ignoring women, and not expressing any interest in them does. so, how about we just stick with ooc communication and being clear about what is and isn't happening?

If your character canonically shows interest in females, then you need to play that. It's fine to play them as bi, but don't just throw all the women under the bus, especially if your character is a huge flirt/playboy type. You don't have to ship with women if you find a dude your character clicks with, but if they frequently comment on dem titties, keep doing that!
