i play from the comics side maybe 10 plurks on my 100+ plurk list the only shaking and feels are from yaoi buttsex doesn't read comics people (2, 1 of which was complaining and the other i systematically unfollow)
though I think all of the dumbshit MCU fangirls on my plurk timeline are gone with my last cut (I am a crabby hermit and only have like 35 people) so it is just pre-MCU comics fans or MCU -> comics converts. I would not have known about the IM3 stuff if not for tumblr.
I don't know a lot of converts. I know a few that were enabled from DC and are really into it but most of my plurk timeline including the people who are pretty active on tumblr didn't say shit about it. I love my timeline.
I have a few, but I don't mind because I can be like 'yesss let me tell you about these obscure X-men you should love'. to be fair I am newish to the comics too, though I came in via 90s X-teams one of my friends has been reading and loving forever, and not the movies.
