Because the latest couple of updates have *explicit* drinking and smoking pot (and I guess sopor slime is different because troll drugs? idk). For the people who were willfully ignoring it, they can't anymore.
...and I don't know why Roxy gets a pass, maybe because as Rose's mom the drinking was already part of her personality. Who the fuck knows with this fandom.
they were. i didn't like it when it was roxy and i still feel that way now that it's rose, but some people are ridiculous about how every canon should remove things that fall outside their personal comfort zone.
it's the pot thing that really throws me off. gamzee is literally just a huge pot joke. dave has made jokes about pot before. his first comic before terezi clued him in to sbahj style was basically pot and porn.
this is not something new, all these morally outraged early-20somethings are making me roll my eyes real hard.
