Void and Sheepy I remember. They have a bad habit of making games, playing them for about a year or two, then getting bored with it and dropping it in the laps of other mods. The games usually die out within a good month or two because the poor mods don't know what to do.

someone else said it best when giving critique to imperial saga but their games end up just being about their characters. plots that don't involve the mod characters end up never getting anywhere if they need mod/npc interaction and most events will be tailored especially for them. anyone who isn't a mod or sucked up to them ends up just being an accessory to the story.

sheepy is also emotionally manipulative. if anyone says anything she disagrees with, void will swoop down and threaten to ban people just for upsetting her. her freak outs were common in chat for multiple games. sheepy and void are also too busy irl to manage a game. not to make this an anti-sheepy comment, but she's a shit mod who only ends up in the position because it's her husband's game. she doesn't take crit, advice, or questions that make her ~uncomfortable~ well. anon mentioned they get bored of their ideas quick which is another true point. you'll know when this time comes when they start talking ideas for another game in chat. that's when mod work comes to a halt and the game just closes. they only pass ownership on whenever the game is already bled dry and even then they refuse to give up their plots\plans for the game so the mods have to scramble to make sense of every dumb thing they did previously.

in short if you avoid getting into aim or plurk with these people while maintaining plots with your own circle of friends, the game will be alright. imperial saga survived as it did because of a group of individuals who found fun between themselves without the aid of npc interaction. considering its the same group who brought down three other games right along the reserves page you can bet your ass this one will end up with the same fate. personally i put up with it for over a year before i bailed from this group and i feel better for it. they're emotionally manipulative, taxing, and a drain on any patience you may have.

oh god these deets are delicious and I love you for them anyone

sheepy/void are the most obnoxious power couple ever, they're absolutely biased and are shitty mods and shitty people too, tbh

run, don't walk away from this game guys, we've already had pages worth of deets on chris but the reality is

sheepy and void are nearly as bad

See, I don't even think they're terrible people. I just think they are incapable of understanding that you can't run a DWRP the same way you would a tabletop campaign.

I don't mind them much as people tbh, they're just shitty rp mods. Well, Sheepy's annoying in her own ways I guess but Void's alright.

except for the part where he actively hunts down people who argue with sheepy, right? bad enough to have one mod dispute, but to have another talk you down because you made his wife feel bad is stupid.

Don't get me started on that. Last time I was in a game with those two it felt like you couldn't even say anything to Sheepy unless Void turned into an ass. Most notable is the one where he lectured the players in the game's chatroom about mod respect and threatened to have both him and Sheepy pack up and leave.

the original issue? Sheepy asked what people thought of a new layout and got upset over people saying what amounted to: "it's fine. We like it. Maybe you could make the font a little bigger so it's easier to read?" Not one thing that could be considered horrible or rude was even said on the player end.

+1
