I hate people who whine about not being included when they refuse to go up to people and suggest plots or cry about how they don't want to "annoy people" or bitch about how they got steamrolled over once and no one was interested and clearly that means that no one wants to play with them ever.
Newsflash. This is a socially awkward hobby. Not everyone is going to come to you and want things. You have to go out and get it and sometimes people miss things or get distracted, especially if you hit them up on plurk. It doesn't mean they don't fucking want it. If you're constantly whining about how the same group of people are always doing things together, here is why:
THEY ARE COMFORTABLE WITH EACH OTHER. They don't fear rejection or fear like they're being annoying when they come to those people. It's a give and take hobby we're in, if you're not willing to approach people for shit, then people won't approach you for anything. And crying about how you don't feel wanted or that people won't help you with your plots/etc. will not change things, it'll just get you a lot of asspats and sympathy promises, whereas if you'd just persistently hit people up on CR memes and tagged around a lot, you'd see a noticeable difference.
tl;dr: BEING WHINY AND AFRAID OF APPROACHING PEOPLE FOR PLOTS BECAUSE "WAH I DON'T WANT TO BE IRRITATING" IS A BIG PART OF WHY YOU'RE NOT GETTING ANY PLAY.
It might not be true of a lot of people, but if you can honestly tell me you're persistently going after CR and always hitting people up on CR and plotting memes and getting no results, then I'll buy something is wrong. Most of the time I hear this complaint, it's the "I posted to the CR meme and got little to no response, but didn't tag around much" or "I tried to get into something on plurk and got brushed aside." Plurk moves super fast. If you really want in on something and got steamrolled on plurk, pplurk the mun.

i cannot stand this shit. i had a problem player who kept whining to me that they couldn't get involved in anything and they'd try to ask people for stuff but get ignored and baaawww nobody likes me
it's because they didn't ask, they obliquely hinted, and they never brought anything to the table when they did get a taker
i was so fucking glad when they finally dropped and i didn't have to keep telling them the same bullshit over and over every time they came to the mods to whine
i get what you're saying but when i complain about this shit, it's when i DO make the effort to reach out and go after cr only for the other person(s) to keep flaking out on me and continue to tag in their little group (especially if they give me the excuse that they're "too busy" to tag with me after agreeing to cr and even talking about what we were going to play out).
the people who don't attempt to reach out have no right to complain, i agree, but for the people that do only to be flaked out on? yeah, that's worth bitching about after it happens enough times.
I admit openly that there are instances where there's a legitimate complaint, but when it's people I KNOW are inactive, don't go around CR memes, and don't tag out as much who whine, I start hissing and spitting.
