same tbh. not in this game but almost every time my behavior in a game could be perceived as cliqueish within a cast, it hasn't been intentional. in fact, i often think about all the other characters i would like cr with and how it might play out but when you're in a demanding cast (which doesn't even have to be related to the size of the cast fyi, before this becomes about cast caps) and already going above/beyond normal AC expectations with those threads, it can be difficult to muster up the energy to slog through a bunch of, frankly boring, "getting to know you through smalltalk" type threads.
i will say that almost every time I've had any luck with tagging out and getting unexpected new CR it's been because I was lucky the other person posted a good hook on an open log which cut through some of the grind of brand new CR where it's not just another network vaguepost that's like do you prefer pancakes or waffles.

yeah same. i just recently started working so i'm going back and legitimately buying the titles i dl'd and enjoyed while unemployed, because fucking creators out of money isn't cool (especially small-time or indie operations that aren't run by shitdicks) and being proud of never paying for shit is kind of pathetic.
i also have an entitled shitbaby relative who's perfectly stable money-wise and capable of buying things but still brags about pirating his shit so i feel this pain, lmao. he swears up and down we can just stream/torrent/whatever all the shiny new movies coming out this year and refuses to go to the actual fucking theater and see them, which i plan on doing anyway.

Also, op, make sure your muse list is easy to find. Some of these wankers have patterns in what characters they pick up, like Tora having a lot of western animation characters. If your muselist reflects different tastes, people will pick up that you're not the same person.

A lot of people have said that it looks as if Viz is looking to make Homestuck more accessible to draw in new fans and make more money. Hence the site being revamped to be more compatible for mobile browsers and having an intro page that sincerely describe HS as "one of the most spectacular pop-culture phenomena of the past decade, beloved by millions of readers". So...I think you're right to be concerned about copyright.

And to be honest, people are far more inclined to talk about negative experiences than positive ones and people are also inclined to exaggerate to make themselves look better. Was this bringing in some whacked out version of a character and insisting she would force her way into a relationship with a different version of the character that is her boyfriend?
