when you start off talking about how you're annoyed someone thought you were too young for a vodka mini it sounds less like grief and more like boredom but idk

buddy, how tf was I supposed to know that vodka minis were involved when nobody was providing any actual deets or summaries of the plurk that weren't just 'plurking at a funeral'

but yeah, that does sound a bit less "using plurk as a way to help mitigate your grief" and more "just talking into plurk"

I was being pretty vague but yeah it definitely seemed less like "I need to talk at this funeral to process my thoughts" and more "I'm on plurk for everything else guess I will be for this too!"

which is why I put my disbelief in a short and impulsive comment here

so there are like several different funerals being mentioned on plurk rn if you ever wonder why people might come over here and snap at you, op

I know I snapped at op because there's two people on my plurk timeline rn who've been plurking about funerals/the death of a family member and they've been nothing but respectable about it. this is definitely something where more details would have been better.

oh, i agree. i just think op should know this really isn't a topic to be that vague about or, even better, to mind their own damn business on.

Dragging someone's business in public because they're not mourning the way you think they should seems way tackier than unconventional coping methods. During my grandmother's funeral I had a giggling fit so bad I actually had to get up and leave the chapel mid-service. Doesn't mean I wasn't devastated.
