my dude, step away. you're embarrassing yourself and, much worse, the game you worked to make. it must suck to see you keep getting brought up here, in no way am i denying the human element of having your modding word reduced to a joke. but you run a small game that's too young to healthily withstand the rattling of multiple scandals while it's still trying to find its footing. take a step back and, when you're a bit more cool blooded, try to dissect through the trolling here and see if there is any legitimate feedback you can incorporate, because this isn't tough love or any love at all, but you can still use it to your game's advantage. your game has some problems, as does, unfortunately, your modding approach. nothing unfixable or born out of malice, but there are some items that can be improved on.

you get to choose now if you'd rather make the most of this shitshow and repurpose it as a learning experience, or dig the hole a little deeper and 'show anons' who have significantly less to lose than you do, because it's not their sweat behind a game. but cut the attitude. you're a mod. you don't get yo publicly present this petty and impulsive, ffs.

back when I was a silly teenager I had an almost-sailing ship with someone in a game. we were both really excited about it but I got busy IRL and had to drop, then dropped all contact with people from RP for a few years.

they were a cool RP buddy and I found out later that they were worried when I disappeared. I was a silly self-loathing teenager that couldn't fathom anyone worrying about me, but sometimes I see their name floating around and want to slap my 2012-2013 self for being oblivious and insensitive toward a nice human

says the person on the gossip forum who is harassing players. the person who trauma dumps severe issues on their plurk without cw or warnings and bad mouths companies for not sending you more free things. you're burying your game with this.

im surprised that the game initially offering paid modding and paid coding work never made it here.

i was told in one of the unsolicited pms that there were going to be paid activity incentives, too.

parthas mods aren't anon. their names are on the mod contact page, and they chatter about it all the time on their personal plurks.

there are plenty of articles that aren't opeds in wsj that are done up in the same way as a fox "article," too

stuff like "biden's economy murders two-year-old in alabama by causing a tornado"

not to mention the articles, also not opeds, that exist for the sole purpose of shilling a product

paid coding is whatever but this is nuts

and some of the other stuff is legitimately good investigative journalism on wagner group and corruption in venezuela. putting down the wsj as clickbait is such a weird take, irrespective of where you land on parthas mod being a namedropping idiot (they are one).

a while back someone asked on here how youd build a community or get a game off the ground, and i said you should put some money into it. get people paids and stuff like that. i stand by that advice, if it were implemented by someone sane. i didnt even think about how ass backwards someone could attempt to do this.

like yes, get people paids, but dont be like "come to my game and ill give you a paid." you gotta. be a little more tactful than that. like you give a couple icon packages to someone whos really active on your tdm and you send them a note saying "hey really cool thread on the tdm, thanks for making the setting sparkle" and thats it.

no it's still kind of sad honestly

people on here are nightmarish enough in their entitlement what do you think would happen if they were literally being paid to play in your game
