really? i expected better from you guys. i mean you get tons of practice bitching and moaning about what other people do that annoys you. shouldn't you be onto some top tier material? i've seen better stuff on wsj's comments section. sorry, do you read the actual news or is it all clickbait and twitter for you?

i'm torn between thinking she doesn't read anything herself, and therefore didn't know wsj is clickbait, or she does read it but can't tell

anon, i'm with you calling out someone's attitude, but calling wsj clickbait is just bizarre. wapo and nyt have that segment much better covered, half of wsj content is dull markets that you only wish someone could make fun and clickbaity.

ok but the other half is oped columns titled things like "Wokeness: Is It A Communist Insurgency On American Soil, Or Just A Fancy Term For Voter Fraud"

there are plenty of articles that aren't opeds in wsj that are done up in the same way as a fox "article," too

stuff like "biden's economy murders two-year-old in alabama by causing a tornado"

not to mention the articles, also not opeds, that exist for the sole purpose of shilling a product

and some of the other stuff is legitimately good investigative journalism on wagner group and corruption in venezuela. putting down the wsj as clickbait is such a weird take, irrespective of where you land on parthas mod being a namedropping idiot (they are one).

buzzfeed has also done good journalism and that's never stopped anyone from calling them clickbait so what's your point

i wouldn't even be able to tell you why i'm so hung up on this,other than as a daily news reader, guess it never struck me wsj would be viewed as clickbait in the US, but there you go

the ny post and fox news are often viewed as clickbait as well. hoping i can divert the surprise for you if someone says it elsewhere
