nayrt but buzzfeed has a news arm that does, indeed, do investigative journalism

ymmv on whether it was a good idea for them to try that when they were and will continue to be known for clickbait, including their news page, but amid the "what movies to watch when you're crying and alone this friday night"s and breathless pop star coverage there is indeed some serious reporting

buzzfeed won a pulitzer a couple years ago for reporting on the prisons in xinjiang.
