i'm op. i don't play in games.

weirdly enough my desire for a plurk contact to @ everyone (by which i mean making a plurk everyone can see all at once, not specifically sending a ping) is motivated by a desire to be less social/less work for everyone involved? whenever i dm someone about hiatus, they usually respond, even if it's just a short "no worries" to demonstrate they've seen it - because it's a one-on-one conversation, and most people probably feel it's more courteous to acknowledge that kind of "personal" contact. i feel like a plurk post is more conducive to everyone just reading it, making note of it, and moving on with their day. if journals were still used for this kind of ooc purpose that would suit me too, but they aren't anymore.

anyway, as i said i get why people don't give out plurk or other socials. was just having a grumble because copy and pasting a message five times over a couple different platforms is slightly inconvenient.

I wish we could go back to shitting on neckbeard lesbian futa rp without the trans women coming out of the woodwork to tell us about how their girl cocks are totally what every lesbian should definitely want in her life.

i know this is just the way anglosphere culture works generally, but its objectively odd that it's not "weird" or "needy" to insist that all of your social contacts limit their communications just to things that are relevant to you personally. very cold, individualistic style of thinking about this, and triple odd in the community that values and prioritizes scrolling on bakerstreet.

if it was shiny it would have been worded like "I know it can be so hard to keep up with tags. But when you app into a game, you're included in the game with the expectation that your lovely tags will be contributing to the game. Without that, can a game even function?
