i imagine gsai is so insecure and fragile that they will believe whatever allows them to preserve the illusion, if only in their own mind, that they're not the bad guy in all these situations.

they feel entitled to doing not just what they want, but how they want it. but to admit you feel entitled to your fun at the expense of established rules and another's boundaries is to admit you're being an asshole, and gsai can only handle thinking of themselves as an always correct yet always persecuted little meow-meow
