I just went to look at the tdm to see what you mean and nearly every top level has been tagged, though lots of them have just flaked out and ignored their tags from the looks of things

so if you want to be welcomed and get more tags in the game when you app maybe you should actually reply to the tags you get?

In the most recent TDM there were SIX (!!!) people who went completely untagged, two of which were on the front page.

At most games people make sure everyone gets at least one reply. And this isn't just a problem with the recent TDM, it's been an issue for a long while.

isn't this game the biggest game in dwrp right now? the tdm has over 2k comments. to be honest 6 people being untagged seems normal for that amount of activity

complaints like this feel like the rp version of being a pillow queen. if your top level isn't being tagged then tag out yourself to other people it's not hard

i mean one of those untagged first-page toplevels is literally just multiple prompts of "this character is sitting here silently and looking unapproachable," so i can't really blame people on that one

lmao no. no one is obligated to tag a toplevel if it doesn't interest them for whatever reason. no one owes you or anyone else tags.

also worth noting the last tdm went up in january, and it's now march

most people only check it when it's just been posted, unless linked by people to their threads. post on a fresh one

sorry, but are you... asking for pity tags? if a small percentage of top levels goes untagged, that truly is a sign of the timing or quality of the post. this reeks of 'make sure everyone gets tagged even if you don't feel like playing with them', which is terrible advice

i had a suspicion so i checked to confirm and sure enough out of the last 10 active tdms:

male characters with untagged top levels: 11
female characters with untagged top levels: 22

twice as likely. stay classy dup

Honestly I don’t mind it. I was thinking about trying a different kind of character than my current, so I tossed them on a tdm to see. Didn’t get any bites so I figured interest would be low, stuck with the character that did have interest, and moved on with my life.
