one of my favourite threads this year came from it, but i agree. innately, any shipping or smut meme can include a dysfunctional relationship because that's a function of the characters, not the meme

i feel this way about so many niche shipping memes when the ship can still be played out on another meme. making it too narrow means you get less variety of the characters you want, not more.

correct. that is probably the intention of the poster, they’re not interested in a good meme, they’re interested in narrowing the possible pool of replies to who they want to see. if anyone plays them or not.
