lmao reading a ton of public shit and obsessively compiling it into a dossier of wrongdoing is fucking strange

"it's in public" your trash is in public, i'm not going to pull your shredded tax returns out of them and hold them up shrieking LOOK WHAT DO while foaming at the mouth

love that ayrt thinks theres nothing weird about saying "if you just shut up and stay indoors, i wont harm you, but as soon as i see you, i can do anything i want to do to you because its your fault for being in public"

"it's in public" your trash is in public

trash on the premises of your home is considered a part of private property and it is expressly illegal to take the extra steps of opening someone's trashcan and digging through it in the USA, whereas visiting a plurk is not

you realize you could make an equivalent argument about someone's plurk on their own page being "on the premises of one's home" right

yeah if it were private
someone's plurk they have expressly chosen to make public is in fact a public space

once again, youre wrong about this. in fact, youre wrong about it in every common law country. if i wanted to take the trouble i could probably pull up the civil law countries' statutes on it as well. its stalking. irrelevant that the information is "made public." stalking is not about classifying the victim's behavior.

would it make you feel better to know that following people around in public to scoop their used cups out of public trash cans is also fucking weird and constitutes stalking to most rational people

is that what you want to hear

not really

by the same metaphor, your front lawn is also a "public space"

if someone started rifling through your trash and putting shit in ziploc bags youd still probably call the cops

a real "public space" would be more akin to here or rpanons or bakerstreet

you know like a place many people use and congregate

ok but the standard for cyberstalking isn't whether you broke into someone's account. it is just using the internet to gather personal details on someone, and also, sharing those details with others and using them to harass the person you're stalking (which is what happened when turd genius anon posted those stupid lists to her plurk.)

no need for exotic and failed analogies. the thing you are already doing is stalking.
