maybe because dupe's been like this since it started lmao

the mods tried to enforce dark events and it caused wank

it was fairly dark for a while after it started and the pushback came from a loud group of players who didn't like it and petitioned to do things like stop submissives having to wear collars all the time

most of the playerbase enjoyed the dark events iirc but the ones who didn't just wouldn't shut up
