it’s a very offhand mention in their backstory, but it bothers me about how they think South Korea would temporarily shut down all their airports and outgoing flights just because of one American (white) couple’s infant. Incheon airport alone has about 1,500 outbound flights a DAY. Do they really think it’s important enough for an entire nation’s airports to grind to a halt just because they’re American and therefore super special?

It’s like… do you think the US would bend over backwards to cancel all outgoing flights from the east coast if a South Korean tourist had their kid go missing? It’s ridiculous.

Nobody is reading the backstory because the trolls tipped their hand in the first comment that the wank was never really about the OC's writing, it was from tagging out and getting too much attention from Hot Anime Husbandos.

not really. i have friends whose family is 99% non-us and even they didn't take their kids abroad until they were over a year old because they didn't want to have to try to deal with a screaming baby on flights.

this would vary a lot depending on the family and what their priorities are. If the family visited South Korea to see their extended family with a newborn that would make sense to me even if it weren't what every, or even the majority, of families would realistically choose to do.

TBH the way the player writes about this poor little American angel baby being kidnapped and subjected to unspeakable human experimentation in South Korea's underground network of super-soldier-building experimental labs puts me off. That said, we've had OCs way worse on the race front in this hobby, and it truly is harmless that they just want to play ships and hop on animu cocks. More power to them on that front.

I’ll never forget the OC someone I used to know came up with, which was a white Scottish woman who after being possessed with a fire demon turned black because they were ‘burnt’ but like. They fully became a black woman, afro and everything, and had a lot of weird stuff, like saying it was a given their martial art was capoeira. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a worse idea.

sometimes i wonder if the rp community has really improved over the years, then i hear about shit like this and know that it would last approximately 0.5 seconds in the current climate and maybe things have gotten better a little bit
