Oh God, no. That person sounds like a dillhole, especially the involving third parties. WTF?

I just don't like being made fun of for dissecting my own writing, or using words that are 'too pretentious' (if I'm playing someone that would use them obvs), writing 'too much', etc.

Does this actually happen? If someone is getting mocked for taking rp too seriously it's almost always over OOC bad behavior directed at other people (e.g. getting really mad at someone else's cringey ship, being a Karen to mods). It's not a bad thing to care about or be proud of your writing quality, but sometimes, it really Does Not Matter that much.
