i think the reason that people are shitting on the idea of get-to-know-you threads that aren't deep or meaningful is they feel like every thread they write has to have deep personal meaning, because they're putting "3 paragraphs per tag" amounts of work into every thread they write and never doing quick and easy tags for CR building.

and they're always the people who complain about how it's impossible to build cr in their game, too. the problem is they want every thread to be deep and meaningful without realizing that it's stuff like silly ice cream threads that get cr to the point where deep and meaningful threads happen naturally.

I see you didn't read ayrt's comment at all, which feels fitting somehow, but you know what: the reason all my cr felt bland and meaningless in my last game is because all you bitches wanted to do was silly ice cream threads and didn't want to read any metatext whatsoever or deepen cr past kiddie pool depth, unless it happened to be entirely about your character
