ask yourself if you're plurking just to say something or plurking something you think people will want to see. the smaller the number of people who would want to see it, the fewer plurks you should make about it. containment plurks are great for this.

do not do not do not DO NOT make plurks for every individual moment in a thread that you're excited about and don't ping people just to draw their attention to your excitement. ping people if you want to talk to them or if you KNOW something is of interest to them and aren't sure they'll see it, or if you're trying to reply to them specifically in a plurk with multiple other people in it.
