i've been using dwtools to blacklist all of the accounts of one specific muse dumper that's been going off lately and i can tell you they put anywhere between like 7 and 15 journals per post (out of the 30+ i have blacklisted so far) and that's just tracking one person.

no it's a combination of info pages where they list their name/plurk, being a member of the same museboxes, and plain old pattern recognition. there are a few with no info that i think might be them because they are often always grouped with the other journals that i have verified as them.

with some it's extremely obvious, partly because they'll use the same toplevel format/text and partly because they'll have eight ocs in a row that are indistinguishable

So far the only one I have blocked is star wars musedumper but they're easy to spot because it's 3-6 Star Wars characters in a row, all with the same formatted body text comment.
