in theory it's a good idea but in actual practice it's a lot of upfront work and is often more reactionary than anything

what gets my goat is when mods to a memory share event within the first 1-3 months of opening a game. memory shares work so much better when you give characters a chance to build up cr so whatever memories being shared actually mean something to them, and isn't a dressed up lazy info-dump excuse
