Unless you mean gen alpha, in which case I'll drop some anecdotes of my own. My neighborhood is full of loosely supervised kids riding their bikes and hanging out in the open space next to the retention pond and doing all the things my loosely supervised older millennial self did

What does that have to do with anything - I'm not disputing that. I'm disputing that "gen z is doomed because kids these days are over supervised" when gen z is now mostly adults
