If I'm remembering this accurately, Jax once wrote a post where Sailor Moon tried to IC explain LGBTQIA sexualities to the network at large once in Deerington.

It was dumb/flawed/try-hard, but it was more clumsiness than active hate or discrimination.

When someone called her out on her HMD she and her friends threw a fit because he didn't provide a gentle cushion for her delicate ass and then implied he wasn't actually trans because he didn't use the terminology they considered correct.
