When somebody you hate apps into a game you really wanted to join and apps a castmate of the character you wanted to app on top of it. Sucks, because I really liked the game otherwise.
This foods you won't eat meme. 99% of the answers make them sound like 3 year olds who won't eat their McDonald's because a carrot touched it. Like, I could understand being that picky if you have food allergies or disorders/issues preventing you from eating well like digestive problems or even if you couldn't afford better food, and to be fair I've seen a few people with this, but some of these lists are making me wonder what it is they can and will eat. Do they just survive on mayo and cheese all day or what?

Hello! Some of you may have already seen this around plurk (I'm surprised at how much it's spread), and might see it on rpanons as well, since I posted it there recently. For my senior thesis I'm doing a study on Anonymity of the Internet. The purpose of this study is to examine the use of anonymity on the internet, focusing on the users of the Dreamwidth.org community, and looking at the various uses of the anonymous function – both positive and negative. Through surveying part of the community, the study tries to determine if the pros of anonymity outweigh the cons.
If you're interested in participating, you'll need to read the consent form. You're not required to sign anything; participation is completely anonymous.
The survey itself should only take about 5-10 minutes of your time.

Truly curious here: why is it okay to wank about guys playing F/F but not okay to want about girls playing M/M?
I'm probably in the minority, but as a lesbian, I actually see it as double standards. I was raised to believe most men liked lesbians, not just in porn, but the reality is most are extremely threatened by them on some level. They don't like real lesbians, they want a chance at a threesome with two bi chicks like what is shown in porn. Men who play honest to goodness f/f without this whole feeling threatened thing of the "A good hard dicking would cure her" mentality (see Mike) are fine by me since they don't hate me as a human being.
But it's okay to objectify men as revenge for men objectifying women because... I don't know, but it's also a common mindset I see in rallying young feminists that also hurts lesbians since I've seen other lesbians condemned for not being able to join the objectifying men cause.
That and women indulging in what they like sexually is still taboo so this is seen as liberating vs what men like. I don't care personally so long as nobody is being objectified for reals. Sadly though, both sides are hell of guilty of this.

savetheearth sort of. the mod has said that characters that have a separate enough personality are both appable in the game, even if they're AUs of each other.That game is AU/memory loss of a sort, though, so it's probably not what you're thinking of.
